Unless you have been living under a rock you might already be aware about the harsh and strategic attack of Indian Culture on Pakistani Television, Media and Cinema Screens.
It is worth mentioning here that the ban imposed on telecasting Indian TV channels within Pakistan is still enacted and those who are accessing them through any means are violating the laws of Pakistan.
Coming back to the original story It is quite scorching to hear about the newly launched Music TV Channel 8XM Pakistan that aims to legalize the broadcasting of Indian Movies and Songs on Pakistani Television Screens. First of all the language used in the Channel is slang Hindi that is far away from Urdu language (The mother language of Pakistani’s), secondly the entire content consists of vulgar Indian Songs, Shows and Movies that have no copyright, thirdly it is clear that the channel is a subsidiary of an Indian Music Channel 9XM which if true then Indian Media has now officially landed in Pakistan through legal means.
Owned by a traitor of Pakistan who also owns two other TV Channels “Apna Channel” and “Apna News” that are swamped in Indian content. Apna Channel was the first Punjabi Language TV channel from Pakistan that received many accolades during the year 2004 but after that the channel was moved to Thailand for disrupting Pakistani culture and now the Channel seems more like an Indian TV channel operating in Pakistan.
If we take a general view the channel 8XM is a rip off, the channel is identical in all respects to a famous Indian Music channel “9XM” that is extremely popular among the sub continent. The entire layout, shows, song playlists and logo 100% resembles that of 9XM Music. From all these indications one could easily speculate that 8XM Pakistan has a contract with 9XM India for legally telecasting Indian Content in Pakistan which if true is so far the biggest attack to which injured Pakistani Music Industry has to combat. Had 8XM kept no relations with 9XM then 9XM would have sued them over using their trademarks.
In an interview to a famous Pakistani website 9XM authorities denied any association to the 8XM Music channel but why are they silent yet when I am watching 8XM on my Cable TV Network for about 5 days.
APNA TV Network plays banned Indian Content but no concerned authority in Pakistan bothers to take action against such dirty fish that is spoiling the entire waters.
Why do we need a clone of 9XM in Pakistan when we already have “9XM Music”?. Honestly speaking after the launch of 8XM the ban on Indian TV Channels is useless. Already Pakistani TV channels like GEO, ARY Digital and G Kaboom are flooded with Indian content so why do we need to view them as Pakistani TV Channels. I would recommend them to change their names to “GEO India”, “Ary India” and “G Kaboom India”.
Being highly against Indian Content in this scenario I would say lift the ban on Indian TV channels. It would be shocking enough startle me but logically citing when we can see all Indian shows on Pakistani TV channels then shut down Pakistani TV Channels and allow Indian TV channels to legally go on air from Pakistan.
If I discuss the history, the ritual of telecasting Indian shows on Pakistani TV channels was laid by GEO TV that is the pioneer of vulgarity and undervalued acts in Pakistan Media, while 106.2 HUM FM is the culprit for destroying Pakistani Music on FM Radio Stations. All other channels being laggards are blindly following GEO TV and 106.2 Hum Fm to earn revenue.
Frankly speaking, if we conduct a poll no body would favor Indian content in Pakistan when we have such great TV Serials, Dramas, Shows, News Channels, Music, Advertisements and other Infotainment programs originating from Pakistan.
I request to all my friends to boycott this channel and to the concerned authorities for taking down such a useless channel off air in addition to imposing a ban on TV channels that display Indian Content illegally.

I see your point here and the fact that it was a content that consists of vulgar Indian Songs, Shows and Movies that have no copyright is illegal right? so I agree that these particular channels you have mentioned should be boycott.

yes you are right. i remember when ptv ,atv and indus were the only three channels without any indianized content.those days i want back
